Family is the foundation unit of society. A Chinese saying states that the family must be orderly first then the country can be managed, then peace will ensue.

'齐家而后治国,
治国而后平天下'

For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God? (1 Tim 3:5)

Remember that the home is also a church.

About BHC

As of February 2010

Jeremy & Suan Ai have 3 children. Eldest is Samantha, followed by Josiah and Elliot. Suan Ai is a home-maker (basically fills the role of finance minister, tuition teacher, cook, maid, nurse, mother, wife and everything else). Jeremy started his own business providing in-home, non-medical elder care (Logos Care, Tel: 62820577). He actually has an IT background, spent a few years teaching IT in a polytechnic and also has a psychology degree.

Family update: We are thankful that Samantha has obtained the MOH scholarship to do Physiotherapy. Scheduled departure, 20 Feb 2010. Josiah is going to NJC and Elliot has moved on to Sec 3, and has grown to be the tallest in the family (by a bit only lah). The elder care business has seen growth, though still not sufficient to breakeven - we are just learning as much as we can. 2009 is truly a year of learning! We believe each of us learnt new things and may we all draw closer to each other and to Him!

Our Beliefs

Jesus is our role model with the Bible as the standard reference.

As we are all created by God, some of His principles given in His Words apply to Christians and non-Christians alike.

Of course believing in Jesus taps on the power of the Spirit of God for all His intended supernatural abilities and blessings in living out Godly lives.

When these principles are followed, the family life will be a wonderful, enriching experience where even adversities are opportunities to learn.

Parents have to be examples in growing to be more Christ-like each day—learning humility, patience, forgiveness and become a living example.

Parents have to be actively involved on a daily basis in their children’s lives—teaching, talking, imparting, caring, helping, sharing, reminding, directing, guiding so that blessings also will follow the generations to come.

God is the key in any marriage and the marriage the key relationship within a family (not the children).
